DIC-SPoke IIITA
IIIT Allahabad (IIITA), Prayagraj is a spoke of DIC BHU since 2015. It is playing a significant role in realizing the primary objective of its hub, 'to provide a platform to students and faculty members having a zeal for learning and creativity, and passion to convert their creative ideas into significant, more viable design innovations'. The focus of IIITA spoke is on Information Technology, Electronics and Communication Engineering and all allied areas.
OBJECTIVEs
Development of useful products using the available technologies has been the primary objective of this spoke. Development of new technologies as well as improving the existing technologies are also included in the scope of the IIITA spoke. Development of various IT applications and prototypes for Drones and similar innovative products, IoT, Communication Networks, Wireless Sensor Networks, Biomedical Engineering applications are the current objectives.
MIssioN & Vision
Showing the working prototypes of various innovative products to industries with the aim of their commercial production through technology transfer is the ultimate mission of the spoke. The spoke motivates various faculty members and students of IIITA and other competent institutes/colleges for contributing to the nation by availing the facilities of the spoke.
